Naranasan mo na ba mag trade and you expect to win?
Yes, of course! you always expect to win.
Lahat tayo we think that we are right. We think that this is a good trade and we will win.
But in the end, laging may talo at panalo.
At napakahirap tangapin kapag natatalo tayo, and we tried to avoid it as much as possible.
Normally, this kind of mindset ay nangyayari sa mga baguhan sa trading. Trying to avoid losses.
Or should I say loss aversion?
Siguro the good question is why they start trading instead?
And the answer is to make money, they are focused on money.
Everyone wants to make money, and they want it quick.
But most of us ganito talaga ang nasa isip. And we learn it the hard way.
Pero ang problema kung bago ka lang sa trading and you focus on money, you will be a victim of loss aversion.
Ang tendency gusto mo lahat ng trade mo ay magiging profit and a winner. Kaya naman kapag ang trade mo ay hindi pumabor sayo, instead of executing your trading plan, instead of closing the trade—which is the right thing to do. hindi mo ito susundin.
Because it’s hard to accept that you are wrong, and you want to be always right.
That is why most of the self-proclaimed day traders became a long-term holder afterward.
Iba kasi ang pakiramdam kapag palagi kang panalo, we are being rewarded by doing right—kahit noong mga bata pa lang tayo. Sa school sa bahay, we are being much appreciated when we do right things.
But the problem is hindi mo ito pwedeng iapply sa trading.
But they hide losing years.
But the point is, losing trade is inevitable.
Ito ay kasama sa process.
Successful traders became successful, hindi dahil lagi silang panalo.
They became successful because they know how to manage their losses.
They focused on how much they can lose, not how much they can win.
Kung bago ka lang sa larangang ito. Hindi ka dapat matakot matalo. Every trade is a risk for the reward that you want. Kahit ano pang set up strategy, trading system ang gamitin mo. There is a time na hindi papabor sayo ang expectation mo to win the trade.
And that is totally fine.
If you lose, learn your lesson and moved on. And look for a better profitable trade.
